5 Content Types to Capture at Your Brand Shoot

Brand photography is more than headshots. It tells the story of your brand and connects with ideal clients to get you booked!

Let your personality shine through your images and videos. Allow your clients to get to know you through your content, before they even click that “Inquire” button.

Have a brand shoot coming up? Add these 5 content types to your shot list :

Headshots

You always need a good headshot to use on your about page on your website, profile photos on social, and any speaking engagements, collaborations, e-mail marketing, etc. Grab a few different headshots with various tops for variety. Layer with a blazer, cardigan or choose a blouse that has a fun collar or sleeves for personality. Incorporate your business tool like camera, phone, laptop or product that you sell.

Business Process

Share a peek behind the curtain of what your process looks like, from start to finish. From inquiry to finished product. This can be you working on the computer, prepping for a client call, writing in your agenda, etc. Document your processes, so you can add the visuals to your Services page on your website. Transparency is key!

Client Experience

This is where the most opportunity is, and is often missed. Take time to incorporate a model or real client to show what it’s like to work with you. It goes a long way. Think about what your client experience is like. Even if it’s all virtual, you can still create an in-person experience to show that interaction and position you as the lead in your signature experience.

Custom Stock Photos

There is a common misconception that stock photos aren’t personal. You can make them personal if you add your branding to them! Incorporate your props, business tools and even your hands in photos that don’t show your face. Stock content can be used in your presentations, on your website and even on social media!

Behind the Scenes

Capture any BTS you can at your shoot. You can use it later for inspirational messaging, and to create reliability with yourideal client. Bring your tripod or prop your phone on something, turn on video and let it roll.

If you need help with planning your next brand shoot to maximize your marketing efforts, book a strategy call and let’s work together to take your content to the next level!
