  • The style of photography you choose (more moody or more light and airy)

  • Poses/facial expressions

  • Wardrobe

But the foundation of your brand identity should be who you want to attract. If not only brings your vision to life, but also resonates with your dream clients. It’s important to create a moodboard of the type of images that tell your story and also resonate with your audience. You should know which brands they follow and align your visuals accordingly.

That’s exactly what we did for Tykia’s brand photoshoot! She is a quarterly client, so we’ll be working together every few months to build a strong catalog of images for her brand.

For this shoot, we focused on those foundational images she can use to promote her work as a brand designer. We shot headshots, mock-ups that she could use to show recent work, her branded merch and lifestyle images of her business process.
