How to Install Lightroom Presets
I’m super excited to be launching my very first Lightroom preset pack! There are 6 presets and include both cool and warm tones, 2 grainy presets and one that’s works greet for photos in greenery. I hope you love them as much as I do!
If you’ve never used Lightroom or are unsure of how to install a preset, here’s a quick tutorial:
For mobile version
(you will need to install and unzip the file on your phone. I recommend iZip)
Tap on the preset file you want to install and tap Export. Tap Open in Lightroom.
When the image loads in Lightroom, tap the three dots on the top right and tap Copy Settings
Then, go to the photo you want to edit and tap the three dots at the top right again. Tap Paste Settings.
Adjust the image from there including Exposure, and turn the blacks up or down.
To save the preset for future use, save the photo you just edited to your phone.
Then, tap the three dots on the top right and tap Create Preset. Name it and save.
Open another image in Lightroom, then scroll left on the bottom and tap presets.
Choose the preset you just named.
For desktop version
Download the .xmp file you want to use and download it to your computer (recommend saving to desktop to easily find.)
Open Lightroom desktop and look on the left panel and navigate to Presets. Click on the plus sign on the right and click Import Presets. Find the .xmp zipped file and double click.
Scroll down to User Presets on the left panel in Lightroom and you should see the presets there to apply to your photos!
*If you have the desktop version, you can easily sync the presets to your phone. Simply, sign into your Adobe account on your phone and the presets should sync.
Let me know what you think of the presets in the comments!
