4 Photos to Plan and Create for Your Website Launch or Rebrand

Planning a website launch or rebrand for your business?

You need a collection of on-brand images along with your design and copy for an engaging and high-converting website. So, what kind of images should you have?

Of course you can use stock photos as filler content or even if you’re ready to launch your business and haven’t booked a brand photoshoot yet. But, it’s much more powerful for your dream clients to see your face, your personality and you in the mode of the work you can do for them.

While planning your brand photoshoot for your website, be sure to know your website layout, specifically where those image placeholders will be, so you’ll know the type of images you need and the amount. For example, if you have 3 image placeholders on your Services page, you can plan for 3 different images at your shoot.

If you’re planning a website launch or rebrand, add these ideas for each of the main pages on your website to your shot list, for max variety and to really tell the story of your brand:

Brand Photos to Create for Your Website

Featured photos are from a recent shoot with Kelsie Cakes, a sugar flower designer for wedding bakers!

Homepage- a photo of you with your business tools and or photos of your work

About page- Photo of you showing off your personality or in your element (home office, studio, etc)

Services page- working with a client or team. Show the behind the scenes of what you do and what it’s like to work with you

Contact page- Photo of you or a potential contacting you. Like hands on a keyboard or holding a phone or a general workspace image

Ultimately, having strong images for each section and page on your website starts with a strategy. Brand photography is more than nice headshots. It should really tell the story of who you are, who you serve and what you do!
