Props to Incorporate into Your Brand Photoshoot

Not sure how to really tell the story of your brand? Use props! It’s the easiest way to show what you do and how you do it.

You can incorporate props in your brand images without looking cheesy. Think of how you use them in your everyday life, and then look for inspiration images that illustrate that. For example, if you spend a lot of time working on your laptop or desktop, what are some different ways you can illustrate that?

Tell the story of your brand with props to attract your ideal client and customer with:

Your Tech

Take photos of your laptop, tablet, phone, smartwatch, podcast mic, earbuds, camera, etc to show the tools that power your business. Use these images to share about productivity, becoming a CEO and your biz process.

Books + Magazines

As entrepreneurs, we're always working on self-development and inspiration. Show how you do this with images of books about leadership, finance or even books you read in your downtime. Share photos of magazines that inspire you visually.

Desk Accessories

What brings you joy when you sit down in front of your computer and get to work? An art print, coffee mug with your favorite quote or faux plant in a vase? Photos of these props make for great filler content on your website, resources and e-mail marketing.

Celebratory Props

The entreprerneurial journey is full of ups and downs, but it's important to celebrate successes! Launching a new product or service, reaching a milestone in your business or celebrating a birthday or anniversary? Incorporate confetti, balloons or champagne to encourage your audience to celebrate with you!

Guides & Resources

Offering free resources to your audience is a great way to grow your e-mail list and sell your products and services. Even if they're digital, print out a copy of your guides, workbooks and templates, and take a photo to encourage folks to sign up. Take photos of marketing materials with your brand name on them such as business cards, mugs, etc.

A well-balanced branding session isn’t just a bunch of photos of you as the founder. You also don’t always have to look at the camera! Take photos of your hands using these props or just the props themselves to tell a story. Use these photos as Reels covers, in Stories and have fun using them to create gifs, memes and animations

Add these prop ideas to your shot list so you won’t forget them the day of your brand photoshoot!
