All I want for Christmas is more storage for all my files…

Whether you’re purchasing a gift for the photographer in your life or adding them to your own wishlist, here are some of my most used goodies that would make perfect gifts. Almost all are under $50

Memory Card Case

We’re always buying more memory cards, and most cases only carry a handful. If you collect these cards like me so you never run out, this case holds up to 60!

Memory Cards

Speaking of memory cards, we always need them! They’re expensive but necessary. I update my cards after 3 or 4 times of formatting the card, so they won’t corrupt. I also plan to have at least 3 with me at every shoot. And if it’s a busy season, I have even more on hand so I don’t run out of space mid-shoot.

External Hard Drive

We’re still talking storage! As photographers, we’re storing gigs and gigs of files from client shoots, personal projects and more. We don’t want to bog down our computers with these files, so an external hard drive is the perfect tool.

Memory Card Reader

This dongle comes in handy when I want to edit a few images to post to social media directly from my memory card to my phone. There is also an USB-C option to import them to your computer if it doesn’t have a built-in card reader.

Bluetooth Speaker

Playing music during a shoot is always a vibe and helps our clients feel more comfortable. I also like to play music or podcasts while I’m editing! I prop this on my desk and play those tunes to make those long days at the computer a better experience. This speaker is currently on sale and comes in two colors!

Bluetooth Headphones

I use these wireless headphones ALL the time. During editing days when my husband and kids are at home with me, when I’m working out and if I’m working in a public place. They’re stylish and super affordable. The photographer in your life will love you for this gift!

Reusable Cup

Photographers are constantly on the go, traveling to shoots. A reusable cup like this Stanley comes in handy to stay hydrated on the way to and during the shoot.

Tripod

This tripod has been one of my most used tools at shoots and for content creation. It can do so many things and can go up to 7 ft. It also has a bar that can be adjusted for flatlays and overhead/aerial shots. Anytime I use it out and about, someone asks me where I got it. I use this tripod almost daily, 10/10 recommend.

Stationery Subscription

I don’t know about you, but I still enjoy writing down my days, weeks, months tasks and goals in my planner. There’s nothing like turning the pages and reading what you wrote. I treat myself every month to the Cloth & Paper subscription. It feels like Christmas every month when I get my box in the mail! There are 3 options to choose from and various sizes in stationery. They also include pens, stickers and other aesthetic trinkets you can keep on your desk. This is the perfect gift, and you can pay for 3 or 6 months in advance.

Photographers, what’s on your Christmas wishlist?
